The Support at Home Transition & Readiness Workshop equips Australian Home Care Providers with the critical knowledge and skills needed to navigate the shift to the new Support at Home program commencing in 2025. Designed in alignment with the latest legislative changes and Aged Care Quality Standards, this two-day workshop prepares providers to deliver safe, effective, and compliant care while ensuring financial sustainability.

Participants will explore essential topics, including case management, operational implications, pricing and viability, and sector performance. The workshop also addresses governance and risk management, ensuring providers can identify and mitigate adverse events while maintaining regulatory compliance. By examining gaps highlighted by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, attendees will develop strategies to improve service delivery and assure quality outcomes for consumers.

Day two takes a thematic approach to unpacking the revised Aged Care Quality Standards and their direct impact on home care operations. Providers will assess their readiness for the transition, develop action plans, and explore opportunities to innovate under the new system.

Through practical exercises, case studies, and expert insights, this workshop offers a comprehensive framework for transitioning confidently to Support at Home while fostering organisational excellence and consumer trust.
